As I drive down the streets and stroll through downtown Little Silver and Red Bank I am delighted to see blooming magnolias, cherry and apple trees and cheerful forsythias in bloom.
The brief but sweet period of Spring which brings us these tender colorful blossoms must be appreciated and enjoyed while they hang from the branches. One strong rainstorm and heavy winds wipe them off the landscape for another whole year.
While everyone here at the Jersey Shore is panting for the beaches to warm up, I’d remind you to take a minute to catch a glimpse and a sniff of these tender flowers.
It’s just another treasure you should take time to embrace and carry with you this during this short season…
