The foundation of every collaborative team is the two specially trained attorney who each represent one of the parties. The second tier is composed of other specialists who assist the parties with specific issues and concerns. A divorce coach, who is a licensed mental health professional, helps resolve custody and parenting time issues and writes the family Parenting Plan. A financial neutral, either a C.P.A. or a C.F.P. may be brought onto the team to assist with the identification and valuation of assets and debts, a family business, alimony and child support parameters, etc.
